It comes with being the market loser (or will be in a years time).
Personally, it is Nintendo's refusal to change or adapt to the competition. Their online network is on par with Xbox Live in 2002, their strict family-friendly image, and yes....their very underpowered console with a tradition of shunning 3rd parties.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
