The problem is that wealth draws wealth. A person with massive wealth can make a staggering amount of money simply by having a massive amount of money. Over time, this disparity will grow and grow, especially with the financial services industry being a money-making playground with an extremely low tax rate. The game is rigged, so to speak.
On top of that, education is now being used as the new method of social stratification and most new business opportunities are in fields that require a high level education.
It's going to get worse before it gets better.
