This is older then the Atari 5200......

Nintendo's start + select button are something because every developer since has followed that controller layout. I'll admit it's not a big deal, but it's not trivial like a faster internet port.

Same with the shoulder buttons, and the 4 button layout on the right, and the d-pad, and pretty much the controller as a whole.

----

BTW thinking of controllers, Sony did introduce pressure sensitive buttons on the PS2, or am I wrong about this too? I would give MS credit for the XBO controller as well, having rumble packs in the triggers, but Nintendo is still the leader here.

Not sure why you're pasting the BK6, it had a power button and a play button everything else were sliders and a free rotation potentiometer, doesnt bring a single thing in repute of my post, but at least you tried *pat pat*

Dpad is right, 4 button layout on the right is stretch at best, shoulder buttons as i have clearly shown, nope, and the manual even reffered to them, in plain english as shoulder buttons.

PS2 had pressure sensitive buttons, which was new, but they werent all that great, or even useful.

BTW I can see why you got banned before, you're very invasive. Instead of debating civily, you insist on being right on wrong. Have you seen me point out and tell you where you're wrong on everything you said? (which was a lot too).

I see you've gone the route of many a forumer who become aware that theyve been corrected and do not want to admit it, or feel theyre on the losing end of an argument, and instead try to divert focus towards the other posters low post count, often to label said user a noob, or a lesser user and contributer to the forum, but more often than not, and as is the case with you, to vocally hypothesize that the person youre in discussion with had been on the forums prior and been banned.

What it boils down to essentially, is that you made some brash, and ultimately, incorrect claims, I pointed out these mistakes and corrected you, in a civil manner, you got extremely defensive and have been so ever since, rather than simply saying "ah right, my bad" and contining the discussion in a civil manner yourself.

I am more than happy to list further innovations by all three manufacturers to debate in a more pleasant manner, It will however require that you take my hand, shake it and be done with this argument and progress henceforth in a more mature manner so we can have a proper discussion.

When i correct you, i do so for your own good, not to piss you off, please understand that.
