Child of Light is a Love Letter to JRPGs.
In PS4 @ 1080p is going to be hard to hold out for imho.
Grandia1&2+Turn based battle system. i don't know about the 2D exploring, that's kind of a Wonder Boy/Popful Mail throwback idea, but damn I love all those games. Then it sounds like the story is in the vein of Ni No Kuni with a younger child. I loved Ni No Kuni. I dig these influences they're pulling from. I hope it doesn't disappoint but I can't see how it would with the influences they are going for, but with the updated and more modern graphics/art design. Sounds sick! They dev's think early 2014 but say they'll see. Then again it might be 20 or less by Christmas time...
