The game is fucking awesome! The last extra stage is really really hard specially if you do it alone! Good to see you ended up liking the game! I also raged at the E3 reveal but after the October trailer I was sold on the game.
And yes the cat powerup is the best powerup along with the tanooki suit in the whole Mario franchise.
