Wii Sports
So wish Nintendo had fleshed it out more. Had it a Mario Bowling, Mario Tennis, Mario Baseball, Mario Golf, ect all in one game and it be Mario Sports instead.
Feels kind of pathetic naming a game as simple as Wii Sports as game of generation, but it really was. It really takes the cake as the whole "best thing since sliced bread" analogy. Sure there are hundreds of great games I could list that have either amazing graphics, great puzzles, a great story, ect you name it. But none of them were the "WOW this is amazing" as Wii Sports was.
It had that effect the first time you played Guitar Hero back in the PS2 generation.
