At what price would the wii u be appealing?

Gamepad is awesome, but make it optional. Make a donkey kong bundle without the gamepad.

Isn't the gamepad the only distinguishing feature of the wii u though? Without it, it is simply  a slightly more powerful xbox 360/ps3 with a worse library unless you love a ton of nin games.
