Indeed. The production cost of GT5 were largely covered by the prologue that they did release. And seeing that it sold around 5m copies. I think the average price was around 20 dollars so they probably paid everything with that money. Then with the release of GT5 it was probably a lot of profit and the development of GT6 was probably much cheaper and the costs were covered. So a flop.... no but it could have been better. Still if it manages 6m lifetime it will still be very good.

COuld have made more, sure... but by Prologe selling 5M I would dare say it alone covered the costs of the whole GT5P GT5 and GT6... So right now we have 13M sold for profit, possibly getting close to 16M+.
