Is Bravely Default the best rpg published by Square Enix in recent years?

Tried the demo on my 3ds and didn't like it at all. I don't understand it's constant praise, but I seriously believe that had FF XIII been called anything other than FF or was released as an exclusive on any device, it would have been praised to no end.
