Uhm, New usually sell less than established franchises. He didn't refer to the other platforms he speaks of xbox one and ps4 sales of their respective games only. 

The vast majority of new games do not sell nearly as well as established franchises.

Titanfall being on multiple platforms will dilute its sales on Xbox One - which, as you point out, is the only console being used as a comparison point.
