Pretty much this. I got my Wii U for 250ish out the door / shipped. Not a bad investment to be able to play 5-10 great 1st party titles over the life of the system.
Technically, I bought my ps3 for the same reason (I played all the multiplats on the 360). God of War 3 / Asc, Uncharted 1-3, and Last of Us. Also, SoTC remake, and GOW 1/2 remake. I think that's pretty much it. So 9 give or take a few in case I missed something. SOOOO, don't underestimate the power of exclusives.
