Around 2010 my allegiance changed to the PS3. At the start of this gen I landed my first job and upgraded my PC to upper mainstream levels and grabbed a WiiU about 6 months after launch. I still believed in what the Wii stood for. If my PC didn't exist Id have waited and got a PS4 first and then got a WiiU later. As it stands there's not enough separating the PS4 from my PC but I expect to own one eventually. I have nothing against XBox its just not my cup of tea, paying for live "was" a big deal though. In-fact paying for PSN might be a barrier as I'm used to free online on my PC and WiiU >_> |
Yh I can understand why it sucks to pay to go online compulsory especially if it isnt your main system, but if you were to spend £40 on PC and/or wii U, would you get as many games as you would in a year from PS+?

But if I were to make it one of my systems it would be a pain. I will buy a PS4 eventually but Im not always online, Id probably use the 3 month membership over the yearly one so that Im not paying for a service Im not always using. I dont have to budget or time when to play online on PC or Wii U. I Just go on or stay off whenever I feel like it.
Most free PSN+ games are fairly old and even if they arent theres no gurantee I'd play most of them. I bought a 50 game THQ pack on Steam for $50 dollars and only played about 8 games from there for example. Plus with the Random steam sales definately. WiiU not so much.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.
The NX will be a 900p machine
