They quoted somewhere between 200 to 400 dollars. The low rez Dev kit costs $300 at the moment.
I've been following the product for about a year now and it seems very impressive. They have added new features with each new version they demo and seem to really listen to feedback from the Devs. For me this shows a lot of promise. Not just in tech but in attitude and networking skills. They are also working closely with the guys at Unreal and are integrating support for it in the Unreal 4 engine.
I imagine having john Carmack on board as the CTO opened a lot of doors for them as it's not just about what you know, it's about who you know and how to deal with the Games industry.
As a PC gamer I plan to buy it the day it's released.
