I cant count how many times google news knowledge made potentially awkward social functions just flow because I not only held my own but excelled at current news discussion. |
I'd just rather not talk to someone than talk about news. I find it more fun to cause the awkward situation and watch the other person squirm than talk about news.
Personally I find people boring. Most people I can have the conversation with them in my head before I talk to them. And then they say pretty much what I expected to them. Yeah I'd just rather not talk to you then.
