Bundled games are counted in sofware sales.  PSN+ games shouldn't count since they are given away and not sold directly.  Also when it comes to digital sales the 360 is way ahead of the PS3 since it has a lot more contend not only when it comes to games but also movies, tv shows, music and music videos.

I don't know about the variety and quality but PS3 also have it... I like to have a physical thing to touch when I buy something... so paying for digital just the subs and some cheap game.
