That's what I got out of this thread as well.  I came in expecting a Xbox troll thread and what it looks like is a stealth Xbox praise thread and bashing the Playstation brand to boot.  His brother went through 5 360s because he played the shit out of them while OP still has his launch PS3 in great (pristine?) condition.  The 360 scratched all his brother's gaming itches while OP had to have a PC to go along with his PS3.  He then goes on to tell us how happy his brother is with Xbox One to the point of wanting to show it off while OP couldn't even be bothered to bring along a PS4 (did he even buy one and if so why so little passion for it).  This is all inception level shit going on and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Shyamalan twist and we find out that he bought the other Xbox One from his brother.

I know (hope) you are joking, but my PS3 have gone through at least 100 disc games, averaging 10+h week over the last 5 years (with some peaks of 20~30h on weekends) and still no sign of wear. I passed my 12 year phase long ago.
