GAF were talking about game engines and it got me to thinking about PhyreEngine, Sony's proprietary engine:

Got me thinking, this engine seems to work pretty damn well on Vita. Gust porting all their games to Vita which coincidentally all run on PE; Falcom using it extensively; ThatGameCompany's games all being ported to Vita etc.
We should start some Borderlands 2 grassroots-esque stuff to port games that run on it to Vita, I was thinking. Low-effort stuff and more games for us.
... except we've pretty much got or are getting all the good stuff on it. Flower/Flow (and presumably Journey soon); all Ateliers; Disgaea 3 & 4; Hotline Miami; Malicious etc.
Except two. Dark Souls & Demon's Souls. I presume with how Dark Souls runs on consoles it'd be impossible to get running on Vita. But maybe Demon's Souls is the game we need to start throwing our clout behind for a porting. Easy (or easier) porting job than most; would work in short bursts on a handheld but has some meatier gameplay as well, and would be somewhat suited for the audience Sony has been trying to build on the handheld.
Sadly, I'd rather have GRID than Demon's Souls which I didn't enjoy. But just thought I'd bring this up :P
