Second playthrough I enjoyed it a lot more; wandering the desert was very good, and the horse back/convey level was genuinely fantastic - pure cowboy, but it's still the weakest in the trilogy in my opinion - too many set pieces that feel like inferior versions of Uncharted 2. The first one was definitely a little raw and unrefined, but it was always lighthearted and charming. The jungle environments were great, the story was good, pure Indiana Jones fun. Gameplay-wise, on the hardest difficulty it was just right - the limited ammo meant you were constantly on the run, trying to use the environment as best you can. It took Gears of War and made it so much more fluid. Both games had rubbish final bosses though! |

Uncharted 3 felt a bit disjointed. I have similar issues with Uncharted 3 as I do with Killzone 3. Not to mention that the controls was very bad in U3..yet they kept saying it was exactly the same. There was something wrong with the latency thats for sure. Then they claimed they fixed it but it still felt a bit off. Some great set pieces in 3 though.
Uncharted 2 gets the nod for me for best Uncharted, as it has all the best bits from 1 and 3
