Same with stevia in europe.

Sweeteners make you sick but they say "prove that it is 100%  unhealthy otherwhise we will keep selling it"  but with stevia it was the other way around "prove that it is 100% not unhealthy/toxic otherwhise we will keep it illegal"  The sweetener and sugar industry/lobbyists blocked it noone else.

Wait.. sidetracked a bit, but stevia's illegal in Europe?!?!  Crazy.  That's what all the health nuts recommend over here in the great white north (Canada).

@ OP

While I do not think personal use should be illegal, I do agree that after a certain amount of consumption the general population should not be allowed to drive, same as a regular DUI.  Not sure if they can develop a weed breathalizer, but after a few bowls and a brownie I would absolutely not want to be on the road with myself lol.

It was in some parts of europe until 2 years ago.
Now its legal but  well  guess what 75g of stevia powder (Nevella) of which actually 3% is stevia and the rest is 97% maltodexrin etc is like 3€+ (us$ 4+)
1KG of suggar is like 60 cents here.

Correct me if I am wrong but when a cop is using his light to check your eyes he will see that something is wrong with you right? Are you unable to drive before your eyes show it?
