It wasn't leading though, it was in second place to the Nintendo Wii. It only managed top spots late into it's lifecycle when Wii sales started waning. It's doing just about the same so far, only this time Sony is in the lead and Nintendo is last. Not to mention the gap comparison is only a million where the Wii and 360 share a gape of 20 million.
