Better stats to tell skill would be win ratio and accuracy, but even those can be wildly misleading. When I roll with my CoD friends my win ratio is probably 4:1. When I am playing solo and relying on randoms it's probably 1.5:1. |

you played dom......cool. but the reality is the most played game type is tdm. in tdm the most important stat is k/d
in a dom match it's harder to gage who the game changers will be, for the most part it'l be the guys with the most captures, however that could mean they just played alot, while a high level of familiarity comes along with that there is always someone out there better, and perhaps they didint play so much.
Even in dom K/d can be a game changer, a well rounded team in such an objective game type won't consist of 100% flag rushers. A few slayers mixed in will shake things up and can end up supporting their team better than the captures stat can tell you. he can be the reason why his teamates were able to pad their capture stat in the 1st place.
wins is also an indicator but like you say, a high win loss usually is attached to a player that rarley plays solo, so at best you can probabaly bet that you're playing against a team when you see that stat.
