Not very funny.

I'm not sure why you're in here trolling my thread. With your name, I'd think you were an xbox fan, but it looks like you're just a wolf in sheep's clothing. I don't know why everyone always has to hate on positive xbox threads. Most people here would agree that these things are going to make xbox one dominate. Are you that threatened by xbox1? I could pull up the hundreds of posts agreeing with the picture in OP if you'd like.

Me not finding something funny is trolling? That logic.......

No you were right, it's just flaming, and now ad hominem, and possibly derailing.

EDIT: w/e if you want to be negative and mock people there's plenty other xbox threads you can do it in.

Saying that he/she doesn't find it funny is neither trolling nor flaming.

And to reiterate what some other people mentioned, it really isn't all that clear whether your OP is serious, or poking fun at the Xbox One. Because for starters, it states that the Xbox One needs saving. Since when does a healthy second place require a rescue? It's situation is certainly nothing like the Vita or Wii-U. Furthermore, as I'm sure you're aware, terms like "TV" and "Sports" were associated with the ridicule of the Xbox One not too long ago. Not until I read some of your replies were I sure that you were being serious.

As for the potential price drop, why make the assumption that Sony wouldn't follow suit, and have a price drop of their own? I think there's a good possibility that that is what will happen when Microsoft decide to do it. Because as long as PS4 is cheaper, they know they'll have a big advantage, which is clear by the fact that they are outselling the Xbox One even with what is largely agreed upon to have the weaker game lineup of the two currently. PS4 is still outsold in a lot of places where you can still find plenty of Xbox One's in the US.

Let's take a few things into perspective. The PS3 that started off being very expensive, and had a difficult to develop for architecture, and released one year after Xbox 360, but ended up overtaking it in Worldwide sales eventually. This time around the PS4 is cheaper, is easy to develop for partially due to the large unified pool of DDR5 RAM that the majority of developers requested (Xbox One uses the inferior DDR3 RAM), (The "triangulation time", the time it takes to create an engine that is able to create what the hardware is theoretically capable of in terms of triangle count was 1-2 months on PS1, 3-6 months on PS2, 6-12 months on PS3, and is now back to only 1-2 months on PS4, so developers can spend that extra time on working on the rest of the game.), it is the more powerful out of the two consoles, and it was released at the same time as it's competition.
This makes it very hard for me to see Microsoft overtaking Sony Worldwide, especially when Xbox One is barely outselling the PS4 in the US (which may be attributed to the fact that PS4 is sold out in most places since the hollidays because Sony wanted there to be many consoles available for EU as well, while you can still find Xbox One consoles in many places where PS4 is sold out) , and since the Playstation brand is still the strongest in Europe and no doubt in Japan. Basically, if the PS3 won in spite of all those setbacks, being out a year later, more expensive, difficult to develop for, etc, I have a very hard time seeing Xbox One overtaking the PS4, which instead has the advantage on all these factors this time around.

As for Cloud gaming, that's still only a buzzword, as there have been no solutions to it's two main problems. Bandwidth and latency.

When it comes to Titanfall, it is sure to be a great seller, provided that it lives up to expecations. But in this case, the game also being available for PC and X360 won't make it as big a factor for Xbox One console sales as it would have been if it was a complete console exclusive. (And it's quite possible that it is only a timed exclusive for Microsoft, given he fact that Microsoft don't own the brand or Respawn Entertainment.)

To sum up, no I don't think Xbox One will overtake PS4 in worldwide sales.
But more importantly, IT DOESN'T NEED SAVING!! It doing very well so far, and that's great seeing as around the time of E3, it looked as if it would do horribly. But no, it's come out strong and healthy, and it'll keep going strong I have no doubt.
The consoles that really need saving are Wii-U and Vita.

As for the "hundreds of people think so", unless you're gonna post links to each of those hundreds of posts, I think it's best to let everyone speak for themselves.

Family share plan is gone ever since the DRM was removed.

MS representatives that they were working hard on getting family share implemented in the new system, it would just take a little bit longer because of contractual obligations and so on and so forth.

Could I have a link for that? I can't find it on Google.

As far as the trolling, I was just kidding. I don't expect everyone to tell, but Pezus caught it.

As for the other stuff, it's ok to disagree.
