I just played a game of Domination on Ghosts and my team won. The leading scorer on my team was 23-26 but he had a whopping 16 captures. The second highest scorer was like 51-16 and had 0 captures because he just camped and picked people off running by. Who is better? And in a game with such varying modes, as well as other factors such as the people you play with, how would you possibly know just by looking at such an arbitrary number?
It's irrelevant, and I hope Titanfall does include bot kills in the K/D because maybe it will end the stupid fascination people have with it. I was in another lobby earlier today trying out Search and Rescue and a couple clan mates were making fun of a dude because his 1.2 K/D was trash. It's sad.
Better stats to tell skill would be win ratio and accuracy, but even those can be wildly misleading. When I roll with my CoD friends my win ratio is probably 4:1. When I am playing solo and relying on randoms it's probably 1.5:1.
