Hands down its Super Mario 64 for me.  I would buy every gaming magazine that existed at the the time just to get the next tidbit of information on it. The wait was excruciating! I would walk 3 miles down to the local Blockbuster every chance I got to wait in line to play for a few minutes.  One of the few games where the hype was actually overshadowed by the finished product. I remember thinking that the future had finally arrived and the sky was the limit.  What game set you off?

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."
