Seems fairly reasonable to assume the rates of sale will continue to be higher for X1.

In the Wii U's first 6 weeks, it sold 3.06 million consoles from Nov 18 2012 to Dec 31 2012. Some IGN writers like to skew numbers on purpose. Also as a few days ago, Microsoft confirmed that the XB1 sold 3 million.

This actually makes Wii U sales figures look worse.

It says the console sold more during the 6 week launch window in 2012 than it did in all of 2013.
