PES always used to be PS2 exclusive as well until the 5th one which added Xbox to the roster. (Winning Eleven 6 (PES 2) did see a Japanese version released on GCN which was fantastic, but this never came West).
Maybe going multi platform was part of what went wrong with PES.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
