This is a huge deal that has the potential to change the console scene. In a way, it's Sony eliminating the need for their own console. Throw a Dualshock 4 in with new Bravia TVs, which will include the Playstation Now app, and consumers can play whatever they want for a monthly subscription (like superchunk mentioned, an additional pricing scheme will have to be adopted for titles within a given time frame of release, say one year). Obviously the technology will have to evolve a bit, but that's where this might going. Users without Sony tech may be able to purchase a small set top box like Vita TV to get themselves connected.
It's all about the game.
