To me the Wii Remote + Nunchuk is still the best use motion control so far released. The main reason being that you get the best of both world with been able to use button based controls at the same time as motion controls. Also having a physical controller in your hand also greatly improves level of immersion. As you get feedback through weight of the controller, speaker and through rumble based vibration. Actual just having the Wii remote in your hand actual make you feel more like you are actually using whatever equipement of the game. Be it a gun, sword, tennis racket whatever in your hand would feel more real with Wii Remote in you hand than compared to just moving your hand in air with no resistant with kinnect.
Not to say Kinnect can be better in certain style of games like some certain sport titles, a Kinnect 2 boxing could be exellent for example.
