Titanfall max player count is 12 players - 6 v 6 battles with AI

6 vs 6 works well for their map size. Now it's large maps populated with bots. and a few players. And people want to bash cod for lacking skill. This will be even worst. 

So amount of players = skill level? Try playing Quake 3 Arena. Skill is proven in 1v1 matches. Most skillfull PC FPSs have low player counts.
