From what I understand it's pretty much Sony's version of a streamed games rental service in the vein of Gaikai and OnLive, with PS3 games for now, he mentioned TLoU and Beyond ready to be played on Bravia TVs and Vita at the CES booth.

Pretty much but we don't what kind of games will they provide. Only legacy platforms, or PS4 games soon as well? Only first party? Probably for the time being until they can settle some agreements with publishers and owners, profit sharing yada, yada. Only Sony devices or beyond as well? PlayStation Mobile goes beyond Sony smartphones and tablets.

Here I don't agree with Kowenicki. I am absolutely not sure what their goal is. Whether they want to drive their manufactured hardware, or focus on being a huge entertainment provider? Is Movies Unlimited and Music Unlimited exclusive to Sony hardware?

This is a small step for $ony. They are soon gonna offer their games to MS and shit too. R.I.P
