I used to be in middle and high school. I was in the art classes at those schools and got a couple of still life and abstract drawings make it into art shows and one won 3rd which was pretty cool. But anime isnt anything I have tried drawing before, plus its been at least a decade since I have sat down to draw anything.
Goodluck in your search, there is some great talent out there, hopefully you find it.
EDIT: Brandon Bond has a good looking selection on his site. He does some pretty bad ass tattoos.
