Like most European countries, the PlayStation is the top brand, though Nintendo has a fair share here. Xbox has a decent presence as well, which incresed greatly over the course of the last generation, but is obviously the smaller one.
Consoles are PlayStation domain definitely, but I wouldn't dare to say whether or not PS3 or Wii won because Wii was huge here. Handhelds are Nintendo's domain like in the rest of the world. I think the Sony handhelds are a small player actually, back in the DS's heyday you used to see people playing them everywhere while you would barely see a PSP. Now, I've still seen a 3DS in the wild a couple times while I never seen a PSV.
In most stores, when you see someone buy a game it's usually PlayStation game. Console-wise, PS3 has the most shelf space, with Wii and XBox360 both about the same behind the PS3. Handheld-wise, the 3DS has pretty much all the shelf space, and before that the DS did. PC gaming is the smallest market I think, shelf space is usually tiny.
Being a small country, our market isn't very big though. Don't know any numbers or facts, but I reckon we're behind UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy in 6th place in Europe given our population.
