Some people can have generalized anxiety, with no one experience inducing it. Its just there all the time for no reason, or for everything. while sometimes it can be treated well with therapy and learning to overcome that response, it doesnt work with everyone and There are some good medications out there for treating it. Any good physician would try non-medicated tactics first, and look to other options if it fails. (a good physician is REALLY hard to find.. I saw over 10 different ones before i was lucky enough to get my current GP. He doesnt accept new patients but as I was married to one, So He let me become one). |
Why would you go to a GP about anxiety? I would think you'd go to a psychologist.
