| disolitude said: If you think you can put it to good use, I say go for it. You're getting 4X 1080p screen realestate which alone would cost you 500 bucks (22 inch monitors X4). I was actually lined up to get this TV for gaming believe it or not. The 50 inch 4K Seiki TV that came out before this works in the same manner (4k @ 30hz) but it is the ONLY TV on the market at the moment that allows for 120 hz input and screen 120hz output @ 1080p. Up until now this only worked with Nvidia 3D vision 120 hz monitors and using Dual Link DVI port but somehow in some way the HDMI port used in that TV is running at a very high frequency allowing it to process 120 frames as well as display them. No other TV on the market is capable of this... Anywho, long story short, the 39 inch model came out but sadly didn't have this ability. It takes 120hz @ 1080p input but skips frames and only shows 60. Bummer. |
Do you know if the announced Dell monitors will support 4K@60Hz?
Please excuse my bad English.
