Outside of 3 or 4 weeks of the holidays, Wii U still hasn't cracked the Japanese code. For all we know, it might drop like a stone again to 3k a week. Even so, X1 will pass Wii U easily. I'm not a huge MS fan but a price cut and/or a new Halo bundle in the states and this comparison is over...period.
