My main point was useless if notice AAA people are not enough to counter balance the constant third party of Japan-only titles. Square is said reduce AAA games and more towards mobile. They only release 2-3 AAA games in Japan this year. Capcom only really relevant AAA is resident evil and said there recent quarter that going to be re-focusing they AAA divisions. The rest of there games flopped mostly because they were to western (remember me, dragon dogma -underperformed- ,street fighter -which was dead this gen in Japan-. konami enjoy your metal gear game once in while because that's all they produce anymore and they make most of there money from social games and no plans to produce many AAA. Sony: Gran Turismo. A declining series in Japan and only truly relevant Sony game in Japan. ^ most of these companies stop caring for there own home country with AAA and are dropping there amount next gen. You can't have 4-5 AAA relevant Japanese games a year to be enough to support the PS4. Ps4 is going to need a least Vita current level of third party which it doesn't and priced at 400 it may do worst. Let's face it we are having least AAA games from Japan coming into this gen than any other. But of course this just an observation about a trend in Japan. Don't take as a personal insult.

SE only releasing 2 AAA games this year? How many do u expect one company to release a year...Capcom just released Dead Rising 3 and has Deep Down coming out so RE being their only AAA title is bs. Konami has PES and Lords of Shadow 2 which is coming out and looks amazing, I bet there's more but I'm too lazy to google it. I'd hardly say GT is declining, the main reason GT6 is selling less is because Sony set that game up to fail, releasing it right up against the release of the PS4. Idk if ur only focusing on the PS4, but u failed to mention Nintendo which has a bunch of AAA games next year such as DK, X, Mario Kart, SSB, maybe Zelda U among others.
Japan is only 1 country, not even a really big one, and your basically comparing them against the whole west and expecting them to come up with the same amount of AAA support. Also huge AAA budgets are not as important in Japan as they are here or else GTAV would have sold a lot more, they don't need a constant supply of AAA games, a few a year is enough with a constant supply of mid level games.
