For me, nothing looks good in displays. They're never set up right. Before I settled on the Vizio I got, I actually grabbed a Toshiba from a furniture store but took it back the next day after the TV didn't look as good when I got home. Also settled on an LG from Best Buy but looked up reviews and decided to opt out at the last second. There was a comparison from either CNet or Engadget that did the 42 inch comparison and, to my surprise, in that size range, Vizio beat all of the big names. I think I can find the comparison, still. It would probably take a while, though. Anyway, a quality TV for the price and it was a no-brainer for me. I'm still ashamed to say the name some times, though.
