Is Vizio considered a quality brand?

I consider it middle-tier. Upper-tier would be something like Samsung and Sony while bottom would be Emerson and Westinghouse. They look pretty good from what I've seen on the displays, but I wouldn't buy a Vizio TV because I'm picky.
