Yep, I wanted to come back on Jan 1st and bump my marijuana thread since Colorado and Washington started legalization but Smeags ruined my come back. I suppose that is what you get for using Miiverse as communication (not everyone checks it everyday, nor do I).
Anyways, you shouldn't worry about which brand you have. The thing that matters most is if it works. I got burned on my first LG LCD TV and had to get it fixed. Apparently it was dropped during shipment or just manufactured wrong because it gave out after barely a year. Parents fixed it by getting a new power board for it but I still probably won't buy another LG product again due to the experience (LG = Life is NOT good). Gave the fixed TV to my girl because I bought a Toshiba 40" LCD for a decent price. Always wanted a Samsung but couldn't find one for the right price.
Didn't Samsung brand used to be shit when they first came out? It took them a few decades to convince USA consumers that they were a "good" brand that they could trust. Kind of like Honda. Honda didn't start out too well in USA but after a few decades they are now considered one of the best and most reliable car manufactures around.
