Pure oxygen would kill you if did it for a while, short periods is alright but it can lead to major brain cell death, and then eventually death.
You might be able to say you cant overdose on "air" as that is what we breathe. BUT you can kill someone with it, as airbubbles in the blood stream are deadly.
