If you look at almost any recent wii u game it is struggling to match the frame rates of 360 and PS3. Often there may be minor visual effects missing from wii u versions of games too. Ghosts below but same applies to games like resident evil, ass creed black flag etc. The wii u has yet to prove itself as capable as ps3 and 360. The wii u is meant to be exceptionally easy to develop for and we are now in year into its life and its still struggling to match the earlier consoless just as it did at the beginning. Mario 3D World while visually attractive is not technically impressive at all. Windwaker is upscaled gamecube game. While I am keen to see the wii u perform to a higher level I've yet to see that happeen.

And what you're using to back up your evidence is last gen games designed for CPU centric devices, ported over rather quickly, removing all traces of screen tearing due to the fact that all these games are forced to use Vsync right? And the launch games were only using 1 core to boot.
In most cases the frames only dip very bad in breif areas
WiiU's definetly a jump over the last gen.
+The console renders whats ever on the gamepad too.
And 3D World isnt technically impressive(what this supposed to mean? Scale? Because there is a lot of things you can't interact wtih in games like Killzone for instance) because its a multiplayer game. It rarely ever drops frames. At all. and this is with several characters on the screen ( 16 or so things running about in the screen) That's definetly a reason why the game is 720p too. Its to provide overhead.
And I dont count particle effects as next gen. ( Its like the overuse of bloom when we entered gen 7)
Nintendo has their style.
