For one, the cold during that year was not even comparable to this. It was just a generically cold winter. Obviously that will still happen, and I didn't indicate it can't. What I said is bogus is RECORD cold weather. In 125 years of data, records are very often there for a reason, and they very rarely get broken (especially temperature records). What I am saying is that if we warm up by (just as an example 2 degrees in the last 125 years), then a record cold snap now should only approach within 2 degrees of ones from back then.
Regardless of that, there are factors out there having FAR more impact than humans, such as sun intensity...hence why temps have been brutally cold in the past with like 4000ppm CO2. It really is quite ironic how scientists are trying to say that our whole climate is warming based on...50 to 100 years of actually good extremely reliable data (I realize we can extract data further back, but it is much less reliable), when our earth has been around for billions of years.
I know, I know, you are going to say how science shows all of this to be true blah blah blah. Yea, science also said that the earth used to be flat, as well as tons of other things we now believe to be completely insane.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
