3DS - 10/10. Outstanding lineup, outstanding sales. The system of the year.

PS3 - 9/10. Great games, lots of games and great sales legs. It is was still a sought-after item right up until PS4 launched.

XB360 - 8/10. System marched on with strong 3rd party support and continued to be the box of choice for most North American shoppers.

Wii U - 7/10. A very weak post-launch with a low number of titles, it played second-fiddle to the 7th gen machines for most of the year. It did get updates and improvements as the year went on, and sales finally became respectable in November. Some nice titles at the end as well.

PS4 - 7/10. Very strong launch despite a somewhat weak launch lineup. Things are looking very bright for the future. I might rate it a point higher but I'ms still jaded by the annual fee.

XBOne - 4/10. Solid initial sales at launch, but demand is dropping fast. A price that is too high and a software lineup that is too weak/too similar to the cheaper PS4. Things are not looking good.

Vita - 3/10.  Almost forgot about this one, which sums it up pretty well.  Low software support, low sales, low interest.  The handeld market has shrunk, and what is left has been consumed by 3DS making Vita obsolete.  It's a device without a place in life right now, and I don't see that changing soon.
