Namco Bandai wants Dark Souls on mobile.. touchscreen control are stopping them.. for now

Despite being so worried about touchscreen controls for this game, I actually cannot comprehend why Namco Bandai is still so determined to take Dark Souls onto mobile. I feel being best at one thing, i.e. console or whatever platform would be the ideal thing to do.
