I was originally gonna post a long tirade about my exact belief, but that would be quite long (and make it obvious I just joined to answer this thread). The question is not what are the slim chance life would appear on earth without god, but what are the chance god exists if there's life on earth. The question is logically flawed in the first place.

Edit: Sorry, let me rephrase that, people like to ask what are the chances of life on Earth if god doesn't exist, when in fact the real question is what are the chance god exists if life on Earth exists.
