Well for one, at the end of the gen, I do not think we're going to be facing quite the PS2 > GC/Xbox that people seem to think.
And for another, Nintendo has always been great at selling their own software, arguably better than any other company, and certainly better than Sony or MS have proven to be over the years. Which is why even with N64 and GC, they still had some of the highest selling games of those generations.
