To pick a less exaggerated comparison: Comparing handhelds to home consoles is like comparing smartphones to desktop computers. They may both do the same things but they do them completely differently. Both have their uses in different fields.

your points are valid though. We just differ in opinions. My reasoning why consoles and HH's can be compared when smart phones and desktops cannot are because they have similar sales. The PS2 is the best selling system after all beating the DS. The PS also outsold the GBA & PSP.
