Sega even recently announced a Bayonetta anime at TGS I believe. Not sure if it came out yet though.


From what I hear Sega had a deal to publish 4 PG games (Bayonetta, Vanquish, Madworld and Infinite Space), they have the publishing rights to these games but don't own the actual IPs which is why Nintendo could negotiate with PG. The anime is based on the first game which Sega has the rights to.
