What Nintendo need to do is utilize the game pad more to make a difference in the gaming experience. It's use in SM3DW seem to be thrown it as an afterthought, like "let's think up a way to use it". ZombiU used it well enough but I expected new ideas from Nintendo.
Anyhow dropping the gamepad now after people are finally beginning to figure out it is not an addon but an integral part of the wii u console is a sure fire way to promote even more confusion.
