i would say it's been disappointing to me that vgchartz didn't develop into more of an "NPD predictor"
IE, you could count on them to pretty close to NPD for each console hardware, and maybe top 10 software.
I had hoped one day they'd become that, but there doesn't seem to be any trend of increasing accuracy over the years. They're really close on some consoles, then way off on others, consistently (and which consoles theyre close on, changes)
